The  Mother Fitness Revolution!

A Note From Kellie Davis:

As a busy wife and mother, I know all too well how difficult it is to keep up on diet and exercise. After spending time in online forums and other communities, I learned that my story really inspired other women. That is when I decided to start a wave of change. I had a powerful message and I wanted the world to know. And so, Mother Fitness was born.

This site is for all women, regardless if your age, marital status, or whether or not you have children. My message isn’t just for women with a similar life as my own; it is for all women striving toward a better, healthier lifestyle. My knowledge comes through a ton of trial and error. I am not going to preach a fad diet, tell you to exercise a certain way, or make promises that if you follow a set plan, you will look like a goddess in 30 days.

You know why? Well, for one, you are already a goddess (I am going to teach you how to hone your inner goddess). But, most importantly, there is no single way to gain optimum health.

I am here to give you the tools. This site will provide access to information regarding diet, nutrition, and exercise. We will also discuss marriage, parenting, intimacy, and all of the other of factors that create that remarkable equation called your life.

This site is a haven for candid discussion on real issues that women face in everyday life. From tempting treats, to body image issues, to exhaustion, to PMS. It’s all going on in your life, and it all contributes greatly to how you look and feel.

Okay, so what makes me an authority on all of this? I live it every day. Not long ago, I battled with body image issues, struggled to drag myself to the gym, and hid beneath frumpy clothes. I literally crawled in my own skin whenever I saw myself in the mirror. I was out of shape and unhappy, and eventually figured out that no one was to blame but me. So, I kicked myself in the rear, dusted off my sorrows, and headed toward a better me.

After that decision, I never looked back. Not once. I never doubted my ability, missed a gym appointment, caved into cravings so badly that I reverted back to my old habits, and I never stopped striving toward greater things.

Admittedly, I jumped a few hurdles and fell in a few holes. I tried diets that didn’t work, fell for gimmicky supplements, and overtrained. Nothing has ever been cut and dry in this whole lifestyle experiment. But, I can definitely say after all those errors, I came out on top.

So, that is why I am here for you, and with you. I want you to reach down deep within and claim that beautiful goddess. That one who others turn to for guidance. I want you to become the Mother of Fitness: the one who wears out her children at the park, and drives her partner crazy every time she enters the room because she’s so irresistible.

Before I began working out and dieting

I was what you call “skinny fat.”
