Answering Your Questions About The Get Glutes Membership Site
Bret, Marianne, and I are so proud of the response to our Get Glutes Membership site. We are already receiving such positive feedback (minus a few technological goofs, which were bound to happen) from our members. We want nothing more than for our ladies—and gents—to accomplish great things in 2013, and this program will be a part of that.
If you are undecided about registering, here are a few answers that may help you make the right choice.
What type of equipment will I need?
The program uses various types of equipment including barbells, kettlebells, bands, dumbbells, and bodyweight. Some exercises will require a rack and bench. We don’t have any machine exercises, so you won’t need a full commercial gym to use our program. However, you don’t need all of these things to be successful.
Within the program, we show you different options for doing the exercises. That way if you don’t have a specific piece of equipment, then you can substitute with something you do have.
Is it just for glutes, or will I train my whole body?
The Get Glutes program is a full body workout regimen with a glute-building emphasis. You will work your entire body, while putting extra attention on your glutes. Kellie tested out the program before we launched and her booty was definitely feeling it—along with her entire body.
I’m new to exercise. Can I use the program?
Yes, this program is designed with every level of fitness in mind. We have built-in exercise substitutes and regressions for those who are new to exercise or this type of training. We do recommend our members have a basic understanding of resistance training and a good familiarity with these types of exercises because we aren’t there to coach and observe you.
But, if you are entirely new to strength training, you can always start with the basic bodyweight movements and work your way up to do each exercise with weight.
I’m not sure if I want to commit to $19.95 a month.
We want you to feel confident in us as coaches and it’s important that you feel comfortable subscribing. That’s why we offer you a month-to-month subscription. If you subscribe the first month and feel after 4-weeks that the program is not right for you, we offer you the option to unsubscribe. We do suggest that you stick it out for the entire month before you make a decision whether you want to stay.
Right now we are running an offer of $9.95 for the first month. If after that first month you decide the program isn’t working out, then you can unsubscribe through PayPal.
Are you going to come out with something like this for men?
Though our target audience is women, this program is great for men looking to improve glute strength as well. In fact, we already have several male subscribers.
What exactly am I getting each month?
The membership site is divided into two sections. The first section is Getting Started. This is where we recommend all members start so they can get acquainted with how the program works. Here we teach you about the type of training you will be doing, how to set up your workout week, different types of exercise options, and much more.
In addition, you will find your warm-up, cool-down, and activation exercises in the getting started section. This is always great for a quick reference tool throughout your membership duration.
The second section is The Workouts. Each month you will receive six new workouts in this section. No matter when you register, you will always begin with month one. After you are registered for a 4-week period, you will receive you’re the next month’s workouts.
The works offer over an hour of footage explaining to you each exercise. We show you proper form and technique, provide coaches tips, show you regression and progressions, and give you tips on how to do the same exercise with different equipment.
The workouts are divided into 6 different videos. Each coach filmed 2 videos (1 conditioning and 1 strength). In addition you get PDF templates with the exercises to take with you to the gym.
